A Jekyll Island, GA engagement session on Driftwood Beach
In January of 2021 I captured a wedding fit for royalty, Sarabeth and Jacob, in Savannah, GA. Little did I know that wedding would lead me to meet Laura and Matthew. One of the sweetest couples I have had the honor of knowing.
Laura and Matthew will tie the knot in Blackshear, GA with their closest friends and family members in a beautiful late July ceremony in 2023. A formal event with all the classic elements!
We decided to schedule our romantic beach club engagement session this November and needed to reschedule due to inclement weather. We were all so happy we did because this day turned out to be absolutely stunning! The dreamiest light and bluest skies. Its exactly what we needed for the classic portraits Laura had dreamed of, even if it was super cold!
Jekyll Island and Driftwood beach is a gorgeous location for luxury beach images. This island is filled with the famous southern oak trees covered in dancing Spanish moss. Surrounded by historic buildings, such as the Jekyll Island Club Resort, Driftwood Beach provides a unique backdrop using every angle for your engagement session.
During our time together we shared many stories learning about each other, and even more laughs! It is such a privilege to learn so much about my couples loves story! Laura and Matthew are a perfect example of love, romance, and shear beauty.

For the second half of our session, Laura brought her mothers antique crystal glasses to toast to new beginnings and everlasting love! They walked the beach hand in hand, sand in their toes, and waves crashing on the quiet shores of Driftwood Beach for one of the loveliest sessions 2021 had to offer.
I am so thankful to know Laura and Matthew and I cannot wait to see them for their beautiful wedding event!
