A Sea Island Wedding at the Cloister.

I had the pleasure of capturing Caroline and Scott’s beautiful wedding in Sea Island at the Cloister. The entire day was like a DREAM! First, I just want to say that we had the best light to work with, and Caroline and Scott were such a lovely and radiant couple that I found it hard to stop myself from capturing every little moment of them. They were the best!

If you have ever worked with me or spoken to me, you know that I adore my job and my couples. Ala When I am given the opportunity to shoot a couple like this, in a beautiful venue such as the Cloister, I am just so full of love both for the couple and for my work. Capturing the essence of love is something I’ll never take for granted. Caroline and Scott were so wonderful, as were all of their family and friends. From Bridal Portraits to barefoot dancing on the beach, they truly emitted such wonderful energy. The kind that I love to capture and enjoy being around.

The day began with capturing the gorgeous bridal party getting ready for the big day. Caroline had two wonderful white labradors that were just the sweetest things! (Yes, they were a part of the wedding. Bowties and all.)

The Cloister at Sea Island was an impeccable venue and I was absolutely mesmerized with its beauty. My second shooter had been there gathering photos of the groomsmen until I was able to get some wonderful shots of Scott.

Its truly the only time during your wedding in which you’ll have a moment alone with your new spouse on your wedding day. You may believe you will, but in my experience, the day is so filled with every second taken up. Please consider this when planning your wedding day!

I could honestly just go on and on talking about this wedding all day. The beautiful trees and paths in the Cloister’s courtyard, to the sea-side view of the ceremony overlooking the water. The wonderful reception and dancing. Just incredible! That said, I believe its best to just show you!
